<dc:description>This study aims to examine the relationship between communal eating and well-being among Tanzanian children using a meal sketch survey method. This paper explores this research method, a form of drawing analysis, to provide insights that will benefit future studies.　The meal sketch method captures subjective perspectives, aiding in cross-cultural comparison, yet presents challenges. Interpretation can be subjective, requiring skilled analysis, and maintaining consistent instructions across study sites is crucial. Additionally, supplementary data collection, like questionnaires or interviews, is needed to enhance reliability and provide context, ensuring the sketches accurately reflect participantsʼ views on communal eating and well-being.</dc:description>
