| 内容記述 | The authors have conducted questionnaire surveys of municipalities in the three prefectures neighboring Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Miyagi, from 2019 to 2021 in order to clarify the damage caused by the 2011 TEPCO Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Accident. In this paper, the outcomes of questionnaire survey related to the health effects of the nuclear power plant accident and the issues surrounding health surveys in the three neighboring municipalities are analyzed. There is a disparity in governmental support between Fukushima Prefecture and the surrounding areas, despite the fact that both areas were exposed to the serious radioactive contamination caused by the accident. In Section 1, the authors review how inadequate countermeasures following the nuclear accident caused health concerns among residents, and in Section 2, it is analyzed why residents in the neighboring prefectures are seeking post-nuclear accident health surveys based on questionnaires and interviews conducted in Tochigi Prefecture. Section 3 then analyzes how local government officials in the three prefectures recognize the health effects of the nuclear accident, what measures they have taken, and clarifies the issues surrounding post-nuclear accident health surveys in these areas. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
